He earned his medical degree from M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, India. He completed his residency in Internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Darby, PA. He trained in Nephrology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia PA.
